🤔Yesterday I shared in my stories that I was given a huge bag of these balls before Luke was even born, and was wondering if should continue to hang onto them or let them go. An overwhelming number of you all said to keep them and shared some great ideas! This activity comes from @peace.joy.montessori and is wonderfully simple. Luke’s taken a great interest in stacking up our toilet paper and paper towels, so I thought this would align with his current interests!
.
🍃Just some paper towel rolls and balls to balance on top are all that’s needed for this quick and easy play that works on hand-eye coordination. While Luke did enjoy standing up a few paper towel rolls and balancing some balls, he had much more fun knocking them all down and chasing the balls around the house. Either way, he was happy and entertained so I’ll call it a win!
.
✨Tip- Add the element of color matching by painting the rolls to match the balls you have on hand! You can also space these out further to incorporate some gross motor play as well👌🏻.

🙋🏻‍♀️Do you have a stash of paper towel and toilet paper rolls? Is this something you think your toddler would enjoy?
.
↗️Be sure to save this idea for future reference!
